Golden Jellyfish

Jellyfish Lake is home to nearly 20 million golden jellyfish, a unique subspecies. These jellyfish have a symbiotic relationship with zooxanthellae, which live in their tissues and provide food through photosynthesis. In return, the jellyfish expose the algae to sunlight.
