Catsky Pillar is a limestone rock with a rich religious history. Initially a Pagan fertility symbol, it became a Christian site in the 4th century. Abandoned in the 1400s, it was rediscovered in 1944. Father Maximus began rebuilding in 1997, but since 2014, no one lives at the peak. The site is maintained for longevity, with mission work occurring at lower altitudes.
