Astronauts on the International Space Station conducted a spacewalk to deploy a Peruvian research satellite named Chasky, designed for Earth observation. Russian cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev manually released the nanosatellite, which weighs one kilogram and carries instruments for measuring temperature and pressure, as well as cameras for photographing Earth. This project is a technological learning experience for the National University of Engineering in Lima. Additionally, Artemyev and his colleague Aleksandr Skvortsov installed new experiments, removed old ones, and collected samples from the Russian segment of the station. The spacewalk lasted five hours.
