VOICED : Costa Rica: EEUU deberia implicarse en drama migratorio cubano

Costa Rica has called for international assistance to address the migration crisis in Central America. During a visit to Havana, President Luis Guillermo Solís emphasized the need for Washington's involvement to resolve the situation of thousands of Cuban migrants stranded in Costa Rica after Nicaragua closed its border. Costa Rican authorities have set up temporary shelters, but efforts to relocate the migrants to Guatemala or Belize have been unsuccessful. Mexico has agreed to allow transit through its territory only if the migrants enter by land.
