Coleccionista de Nueva York devuelve a Bolivia lienzos coloniales robados

Two colonial paintings, 'Virgen de la Candelaria' and 'Huida de Egipto', were returned to Bolivia after being stolen 13 years ago. Richard and Roberta Ubert, who unknowingly bought and restored the paintings, returned them after being alerted by the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The paintings were part of a larger theft from a church in Potosí, Bolivia. President Evo Morales decided not to return the paintings to the church to prevent future thefts. Over 400 colonial art pieces have been stolen from Bolivian churches in recent years.
