VOICED : Estudiante de Ayotzinapa asesinado no fue desollado (Ombudsman)

In September 2014, one of the three Ayotzinapa students who died was not skinned but had parts of his face eaten by animals, according to the Mexican ombudsman. Julio César Mondragón's body showed signs of torture after an attack by narcotraffickers and police, during which 43 students disappeared. Initial reports suggested Mondragón was skinned by narcotraffickers for being part of a rival cartel, a claim denied by the students' families. The Human Rights Commission continues to investigate the disappearance of the 43 students, with 47 of over a hundred detainees alleging torture.
