Colombia: Policía toma control de mayor expendio de drogas

The Colombian police conducted a major raid on the largest drug den in Bogotá, known as Calle del Bronx. The operation aimed to investigate potential human dismemberment sites and resulted in the arrest of 11 individuals and the seizure of large quantities of drugs. The area, located near government and police facilities, was cleared of hundreds of people, including many homeless individuals who were provided medical treatment and shelter by the Bogotá Mayor's Office. Since the raid, there has been a significant increase in the number of homeless people seeking help at shelters, where they receive basic amenities and are encouraged to join rehabilitation programs.
