A venomous cobra leaves its lair, drawn by the scent of hatching crocodile eggs. Upon reaching the nest, it encounters a monitor lizard already there. The two predators size each other up, trying to intimidate by appearing larger. The cobra is ready to strike, causing the monitor to retreat, but not before taking a parting shot. The cobra is left with the eggs, only to find them empty, as the monitor had already eaten them, leaving the cobra with an empty victory.
