Jellyfish have been around for millions of years, predating dinosaurs. They inhabit oceans worldwide, thriving in both warm and cold waters. Jellyfish come in various colors and some can even produce light. They resemble umbrellas and vary in size. As invertebrates, they lack a spine, brain, eyes, heart, or bones, but have a central mouth for eating and waste expulsion. Jellyfish move by riding ocean currents or squirting water from their mouths. Their tentacles contain stinging cells to capture prey. Jellyfish can be found in shallow and deep waters, often near shores. While they don't attack humans intentionally, their stings can be painful. It's important to maintain a safe distance from them.
