Koalas are unique mammals native to Australia, known for being warm-blooded and having fur. They are marsupials, carrying their young, called joeys, in a pouch. Koalas spend most of their lives in eucalyptus trees, eating leaves and sleeping up to 20 hours a day due to their low-energy diet. Despite their slow nature, they are excellent climbers, using strong limbs and sharp claws to navigate tree branches.
