In a parched landscape, capybaras hear water and move towards a life-saving lagoon. The exhausted herd finds relief, but they are not alone. Many capybara herds have gathered, abandoning their territories due to the dry season. Normally territorial, they tolerate each other, forming an unspoken truce. They rely on the lagoon for cooling and protection, using mud to shield themselves from the sun. The animals will remain near the lagoon until the wet season arrives.
