Maylene Paquet, a 35-year-old Canadian, became the first North American to row across the Atlantic Ocean. Her journey began in Halifax, Canada, and ended in Lorient, France, covering 4,300 kilometers. She faced severe weather, health issues, and personal challenges but successfully completed her voyage. Her family celebrated her achievement, marking a significant milestone as only ten people, including three women, have accomplished this feat.
