Their culture included storytelling and crafts like beadwork. The Wampanoag played a crucial role in helping the Pilgrims survive, fostering initial peaceful relations. However, as settlers expanded, tensions led to King Philip's War, resulting in significant loss for the Wampanoag. Despite this, descendants remain in New England today.
