CLEAN : Poverty and activism combine in Chad street theatre

In the heart of Chagwa district, Bonaventure Majitu Banjar brings theatre and music to the community, reciting African poetry and emphasizing the importance of culture for development. Accompanied by the Kundu, an African xylophone, he performs to make culture accessible. Bonaventure also organizes workshops for children, fostering a love for art and theatre. Despite Chad lacking its own theatre, he aims to inspire the next generation to learn and grow in the arts.
