VOICED : Rusia y Turquia delimitan zona desmilitarizada en Idlib

Rusia and Turkey have reached an agreement on the borders of a demilitarized zone in Idlib, Syria's last rebel stronghold. The main goal is to eliminate the terrorist threat. The demilitarized zone should be implemented by October 15, serving as a buffer between insurgent territories and regime-controlled areas. All heavy weapons and jihadists must leave the zone. Recently, Idlib has been under siege by the Syrian regime and its Russian ally, but Turkey, supporting some armed groups, called for a ceasefire. The UN warned that an assault on Idlib, home to three million people, could trigger a humanitarian catastrophe and possibly one of the worst bloodbaths in Syria's seven-year war.
