First Florida Beaches Reopening After Coronavirus Shutdowns

Duval County, Florida, is reopening its parks and beaches after a month-long closure due to the coronavirus pandemic. Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry announced that these areas will be accessible for essential activities like walking, biking, and swimming, provided social distancing guidelines are followed. However, activities such as sunbathing and the use of towels, chairs, and grills remain prohibited. Duval County is the first in Florida to take this step.
