In Vienna, volunteers assist a record number of immigrants arriving by train, many from Budapest without EU visas. These immigrants, hoping to reach Germany for asylum, often sleep at the station. Volunteers provide food, water, and sanitary products. Europe is experiencing its largest migrant wave since WWII, with over 300,000 arrivals this year, fleeing war, persecution, and poverty in the Middle East and Africa.
