Largest sea vessel built in South America

The José Olaya, a 25,000-ton bulk carrier, is the largest ship built in South America. Delivered by CIMA to the Peruvian Steamship Company, it will transport fishmeal and oil. At the delivery ceremony, Rear Admiral Egusquiza highlighted its significance as the first state-owned bulk carrier flying the Peruvian flag. Vice Admiral Belina noted that this ship, along with others, will fulfill the goal of transporting Peruvian products globally.
