The United States has placed a Pakistani religious school, Ganj Madrasa, on its list of entities suspected of terrorist activities. The school, located in northern Pakistan, is alleged to have served as a refuge and training center for Taliban fighters who were later deployed to Afghanistan. As a result of this designation, any assets and aid programs associated with the school in the US are frozen.
