Mohamed Merah, a jihadist, was buried in the Muslim section of a cemetery in Toulouse, France, after Algeria refused to accept his body. The funeral, attended by a small group of men, ended a controversy over the burial location. Merah's father wanted him buried in Algeria, while his mother feared the grave would be desecrated in France. A USB with videos of the attacks was found on Merah posthumously.
