Esports set to debut at 2018 Asian Games

Esports was recognized as a sport by the International Olympic Committee in November. With over 250 million players globally, esports is a billion-dollar market. The 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta will feature esports as a demonstration event, with a full debut as a medal event in the 2022 Games in Hangzhou, China. The 2018 roster includes six game titles: League of Legends, Hearthstone, Pro Evolution Soccer, StarCraft II, Clash Royale, and Arena of Valor.
