Belarus' Lukashenko Fires Back At Critics

A Lithuania-bound flight was diverted to Minsk on orders from President Alexander Lukashenko due to a bomb threat, which turned out to be false. Lukashenko dismissed Western criticism of the incident, labeling it a lie, and accused European leaders of waging a hybrid war by threatening sanctions. Opposition groups have been calling for Lukashenko's resignation since August, following an election they claim was rigged.
