The UK Parliament has passed the European Union Withdrawal Agreement bill, moving the UK closer to leaving the EU. After the House of Commons overturned amendments from the House of Lords, both houses agreed to advance the bill. Prime Minister Boris Johnson expressed relief and optimism for the UK's future. The bill will become law after receiving royal assent, and the EU Council and Commission presidents are expected to sign the agreement soon. The EU Parliament will vote on it next week, and if all goes as planned, the UK will officially leave the EU at 11:00 PM on January 31st.
