VOICED : Fuerte presencia policial en La Habana en día de convocatoria a protesta

In Havana, a strong police presence was observed during a protest against the government. The protest, organized by the Archipiélago Political Debate Group, called for the release of political prisoners and respect for human rights. It followed the July 11 protests, which resulted in casualties and numerous arrests. Protesters were encouraged to wear white or hang white sheets if unable to join. The government, resuming normalcy post-pandemic, accused organizers of being U.S.-backed agents and banned the protest, threatening legal action.
