The poll shows Lula with 49% of voting intentions, unchanged from the previous week, while Bolsonaro has 45%, within the margin of error. When considering valid votes, Lula leads with 52% against Bolsonaro's 48%. As the campaign nears its end, both candidates are focusing on winning over the 1% of undecided voters and those planning to vote blank or null, which account for 4% of voting intentions. Lula won the first round on October 2 with 48% of the votes, five points ahead of Bolsonaro. The runoff is set for October 30.
