Most cases are among men who have sex with men, but there are also cases in women and minors. PAHO has secured 100,000 vaccine doses for Latin America and the Caribbean. Despite a decrease in COVID-19 cases, it remains a significant threat due to potential new variants. PAHO urges vaccination for unvaccinated populations.
