An Irish distillery has adapted to the COVID-19 crisis by using its gin production facilities to create hand sanitizer, a scarce commodity. Initially, the sanitizer was made for personal use, but as the pandemic spread, the distillery began selling it to the public and donating to homeless associations. Since commercialization began, they have sold between 3,500 and 4,000 bottles, totaling 2,000 liters. This initiative is their way of contributing to the community during these uncertain times.
