VOICED : Argentinos piden libertad de lider social y apoyan a CIDH

Activists in Buenos Aires protested against political imprisonment in Argentina, supporting the visit of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights. The commission's visit marks 38 years since a pivotal 1979 visit. Although not focusing on Argentine cases, a visit to Jujuy is considered, where activist Milagro Sala has been detained since 2016. Her detention is deemed arbitrary by the UN, and her release is urged by the CIDH. The Forum for Freedom and Democracy presented a report on human rights violations and arbitrary detentions in Jujuy and Mendoza.
