Egypt temporarily reopened the Gaza border crossing at Rafa, the only access not controlled by Israel, to allow Gaza residents stranded in Egypt to return. The crossing had been closed following a suicide attack in Sinai. The closure left over 3,500 Palestinians unable to return home, while others couldn't leave Gaza. Meanwhile, a convoy of construction materials entered Gaza through the Kerem Salom crossing, marking the largest delivery since the recent conflict. The Palestinian government has a $4 billion reconstruction plan, with current materials allocated to the private sector.
