His musical journey began at 19 after discovering John Coltrane, leading him to quit his job and pursue music. He quickly rose to fame, collaborating with jazz legends and diverse musicians. Recently, Sheppard has focused on community engagement, performing with amateurs and in unconventional venues. His latest project, Glossolalia, involves 130 choristers from Normandy.
