Birds

Birds evolved from dinosaurs during the Jurassic period, developing lightweight, feathered bodies over millions of years. They use colorful feathers for mating displays and territorial dominance, while some, like the red-winged blackbird, can hide their colors to avoid predators. Birds have three eyelids for eye protection. Owls, with tube-shaped eyes fixed by bones, rotate their heads to see around.
