Giant, green emerald found in Zambia mine

An uncut emerald with remarkable clarity and a golden-green hue was discovered in Kagum, Zambia, at the world's largest emerald mine. Gemfield released a statement highlighting the emerald's unique features. The discovery was made by a geologist and a veteran emerald miner on October 2nd. The emerald will be cut into several pieces and auctioned in Singapore this month.
