You'll soon be able to get free COVID tests by mail again

The CDC recommends updated COVID and flu shots for everyone six months and older as part of a federal plan to combat seasonal virus surges. Free COVID tests will be available by mail, and new vaccines targeting the KP 2 variant are being distributed. Current COVID data shows stable infection rates, but high wastewater levels. Over $60 million is allocated to state and local health departments for vaccine clinics.
