Dozens Of Earthquakes Rattle Northern California

A series of earthquakes hit Northern California, with a major 6.2 magnitude quake occurring near Petrolia. Despite initial fears, the quake did not trigger a tsunami. The quake caused minor damage, such as knocking down bricks and displacing household items. Experts suggest that while earthquakes are common in the region, another major quake is unlikely soon.
