Greenland

Greenland, largely above the Arctic Circle, is geographically part of North America but politically linked to Europe through Denmark. Its economy relies heavily on fishing, and its population is predominantly Inuit. Historically, Vikings settled in Greenland, but their communities vanished during the Little Ice Age. The island's interior is dominated by the Greenland Ice Sheet, which, if melted, could significantly raise global sea levels. Greenland's climate is harsh, with long winters and short summers, and its landscape is mostly treeless with limited agriculture.
