Ketanji Jackson's Journey from Harvard Law to the Bench

Katanji worked for Time magazine before attending Harvard Law School, where she was a supervising editor of the Harvard Law Review. After graduating, she married Patrick Jackson, a surgeon, and they have two daughters. In 1996, she met Barack Obama at a wedding, recognizing him as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review. In 2012, Obama nominated her as a judge for the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
