R. Kelly's New York Trial Postponed Until September

R. Kelly's sex trafficking trial in New York has been rescheduled to start jury selection on September 29th, delayed from July 7th. He faces multiple charges, including racketeering and child pornography, and is currently held in Chicago. His lawyers have requested his release due to COVID-19 concerns, but Judge Donnelly has previously denied such requests. Both defense and prosecution prefer the New York trial to precede the Chicago federal trial set for October. Kelly denies all allegations.
