John Kerry, the special envoy on climate for President Biden, met with Chinese officials in Shanghai to discuss collaborative efforts on climate action and sustainable energy. Both parties agreed to work together to support developing countries. Additionally, the White House is organizing a virtual climate summit with global leaders at the end of the week.
