Heavy Rain Hits Florida, Flooding Strands Miami Vehicles

A tropical system caused unexpected heavy rain in South Florida, leading to over 8 inches of rain in some areas. Miami experienced severe flooding, stranding drivers and submerging roads. Recovery efforts are underway, with water levels receding. Fort Lauderdale also faced significant flooding. The system has moved into the Atlantic and is no longer a threat. It will be named Alex but will not impact land further.
