Margot Duhalde, a 96-year-old Chilean woman, volunteered as a pilot for the Free French Forces during WWII. Despite facing gender bias, she learned to fly in Chile and supported France, thanks to her instructor César Copeta. She overcame rivalry with male pilots and joined the Free French Forces at 20, flying various combat aircraft. Duhalde survived numerous accidents and was honored by England, France, and Chile, receiving the Legion of Honor from France.
