VOICED : El COI levanta la suspension al Comite Olimpico Brasileno

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) lifted the suspension on the Brazilian Olympic Committee, imposed after the arrest of its president, Carlos Nuzman, for corruption. The IOC reviewed the Brazilian Committee's statutes and governance, and an independent audit confirmed the accuracy of its accounts. The Brazilian Committee was not implicated in the charges against Nuzman, who was arrested in 2017 for corruption, money laundering, and criminal organization involvement. He is suspected of buying votes to secure the Olympic Games for Brazil.
