VOICED : Festival del comic da homenaje a Charlie Hebdo

The Angoulême Comic Festival paid tribute to Charlie Hebdo, showcasing all editions of the satirical magazine. The 42nd edition of the festival featured enhanced security, especially for Catherine Maris, a survivor of the Charlie Hebdo attack. The festival organized numerous tributes to the fallen cartoonists and introduced the Charlie Hebdo Freedom of Expression Award. A special award was given to Charlie Hebdo, alongside the main Angoulême prize awarded to manga artist Katsumiro Otomo. The festival aims to inspire reflection and maintain the satirical spirit of Charlie Hebdo, which has mocked the powerful and religions since 1970.
