VOICED : Ecuador: Lasso exige transparencia en conteo de votos

Guillermo Lazo, the right-wing presidential candidate in Ecuador, called for transparency in the vote counting process after trailing the leftist candidate, Lenín Moreno, by over two percentage points. Lazo, who previously lost the 2013 elections, announced his intention to challenge the results, claiming he won by a margin of four to six points. He demanded a vote-by-vote recount. The National Electoral Council has ten days to deliver the final election results.
