Somalia is facing a severe food crisis due to an unprecedented drought, the worst in 40 years. This has led to increased child malnutrition and overwhelmed hospitals. Many Somalis, reliant on agriculture and livestock, have been forced to migrate due to resource depletion. Neighboring countries like Ethiopia and Kenya are also affected. Humanitarian organizations warn of a potential famine. Hospitals are struggling with a surge in patients, and there's a dire need for improved facilities and nutrition for mothers. The last four rainy seasons have been inadequate, leaving 7.1 million Somalis hungry, with 213,000 in critical condition.
