VOICED : Texas militarizara su frontera con Mexico

Texas plans to reinforce its border with Mexico by deploying 1,000 National Guard soldiers, as announced by the state's governor. The Operation Stronger Security will support the Border Guard, especially in the Rio Grande Valley. Texas has received most of the 57,000 unaccompanied Central American minors who have arrived in the U.S. since last October, fleeing violence and poverty. The surge has overwhelmed detention centers, leading to transfers across the country. President Obama has requested $3.7 billion from Congress to increase border agents and aerial surveillance, and to expand facilities for accommodating and deporting illegal immigrants. Obama will discuss the issue with leaders from El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala.
