Ousted Vaccine Expert To Testify Before Congress Thursday

Dr. Rick Bright, former director of the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority, is set to testify before a House subcommittee, warning that 2020 could be the darkest winter if the U.S. doesn't plan for a COVID-19 resurgence. Bright, who filed a whistleblower complaint after being reassigned, alleges he faced retaliation for not promoting Hydroxychloroquine. He plans to discuss the lack of preparedness and missed warning signals in the pandemic response. Dr. Anthony Fauci also cautioned Congress about the risks of easing restrictions too quickly.
