Eye On Home

Anthony Rowe, a computer engineer from Carnegie Mellon, has developed a home monitoring system using wireless sensors. These sensors track the energy usage of household appliances and allow remote control via a laptop or iPhone. The system is easy to install due to its wireless nature and transmits data over Wi-Fi. Rowe also created software to visualize energy consumption, supported by the National Science Foundation. This system helps users monitor their power usage, reduce their carbon footprint, and save on energy costs.
