Eutrofización

Excess nutrients from agricultural fertilizers lead to excessive plant growth. Rainwater carries these nutrients into rivers and streams, causing rapid algae growth. This results in decreased oxygen levels, leading to the death of fish and other aquatic organisms. Consequently, dead zones are created where no species can survive.
