Nevada Voters Overwhelmingly Pass Same-Sex Marriage Protection

In response to Supreme Court justices criticizing the 2015 decision to legalize same-sex marriage, Nevada voters acted to protect it by voting to include it in the state constitution. This makes Nevada the first state to define marriage as between couples regardless of gender in its constitution.
