Wall Street Journal: U.S. And China Have Agreed To Semi-Annual Talks

China and the US have agreed to semiannual talks, set to be announced on January 15th during a White House ceremony for the Phase one deal. These meetings are similar to those initiated under President George W. Bush and continued by Barack Obama and Donald Trump, although the Trump administration later abandoned them due to a lack of tangible results. The new talks, led by Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, aim to foster deeper relationships between officials of both governments.
